If you’re not from Kiwi land then you might not get the O for awesome joke. Then again you might not get the pure radness of the snowtunnel either. For me I won’t be convinced till it’s an Olympic sport. If any one you know actually rides a snowtunnel in the next millennium please drop us a line so we can interview you.

FS04 – Lonon Freeze Snowboard, Ski and Music Festival

Well it’s no Wanaka Big Air but these Londoners know how to knock up a pretty mean event. There was 3 solid days of freeskiing, snowboarding, bars, tents and music to keep everyone fully entertained. For all the results and better photos than what my shitty camera was able to take, have a look at the Freeze website. If you’re around next year it’s definitely worth coming so keep the dates 30th October to 1st November free in your diary. Dear Readers,

It’s with regret I inform you that Charter Ski Magazine won’t be publishing any issues this year (2009).

The team has ventured offshore to live and explore the sights and slopes of far off lands. We are still working on various projects and will no doubt be back at some stage in the future. Who knows… maybe you’ve got the skills and determination to pick up and run the magazine (send me an email).

Till then, feel sad for this puppy as he really liked Charter. But feel happy for us as we’ll be out there hunting some powder.
